You know this feeling when all the muscles in your body hurts but you are happy and feel amazing. This is the feeling after being to the gym working out and seeing results on your body.
I just started going back to the gym after one year of absence. In the meantime I have been doing some exercises at home but without any weights as I only have weights of 1kg at home. Therefore it feels even more great going to the gym where you can find absolutely everything.
It’s also a time for me as well getting out of the house and having some alone time. Just me and my music for an hour!! Amazing! I am not very social at the gym except if I am participation in a class, don’t know about you but I like doing my thing. Maybe this is because I do not feel comfortable yet and will open up later on… time will tell 😉
I must admit that I have forgotten many exercises I did before during my time away so it’s going to take some time to get back on track. It’s also a new gym so finding my ways slowly. If you have a nice program for me I’m open for any suggestions 😉
I usually start my training with 15 min of HIIT on the bike to get warmed up, I then continue with weights. Depending of the days I am working different part of the body. I prefer working my legs so squats and lunges are one of the first exercises I do. Adding weight on my shoulders for more intensity. The next day I am working shoulders and back, followed by abs and butt.
I believe I will be able to go to the gym 3-4 times a week. This is to be confirmed once I am back working and the schedule with the kids and my husbands work-out.
To get even better results and hopefully beach 2018 body I am careful with the food and only eat healthy meals. Avoiding sugar and other fat. When doing the challenge at Christmas I got to know what I need to work on and what my body needs. I noticed that I don’t drink enough and water is helping strengthen the bones. I also need to loose fat and gain more muscles. So my objectives are known to me and I will do my best to fulfill them.
So if I can do it, so can you!!
